More Ships To Join Fleet

Costa Cruises currently have a fleet of 12 ships that will be joined by both Costa Luminosa and Costa Pacifica in 2009. Further on in 2010 the fleet of 14 will be joined by a fifteenth ship; Costa Deliziosa.

The Costa fleet aim to provide a cruise experience with its unique Italian style filled with entertainment and enjoyment.

The current flagship of the fleet is Costa Serena who joined the cruise line in 2007. She is currently the largest and longest ship in the fleet alongside her sister ship Costa Concordia.

Costa Serena Big Hit

In 2007 Costa Cruises added the Costa Serena to their fleet, and was named to represent harmony and serenity. With a sister ship called the Concordia, launched 2 years ago and further sister ship, the Pacifica to launch in 2009.

Facilities on board include 5 restaurants, 13 bars, 4 swimming pools, 5 Jacuzzi’s, theatre, casino and much more. The Serena along with the Concordia is the longest and biggest ship in the Costa Cruises fleet.

Costa Pacifica 2009 Arrival

2009 sees the third sister of the Costa Concordia Class and the arrival of Costa Pacifica. She will be the largest ship in Costa Cruises fleet and promises to push Costa Cruises forward as they continue to grow.

Featuring similar features to the Serena and the Concordia she will boast a Samsara Spa and a pool side theatre. Along with restaurants, bars, outdoor sporting facilities, a shopping area and much more, the Pacifica looks to become Costa Cruises best vessel yet.
